My name is Amanda Caldwell and I am passionate about living.

I want to help others thrive- reaching their potential, experiencing healthy relationships, peace, and joy. I became a licensed marriage & family therapist so that I could be more equipped to do that work.

A little about me

I like to spend my free time with family (see below!), friends, or being active (running, swimming, surfing, etc.). I love the outdoors. The ocean and mountains are my happy places.

Who I work with

I work primarily with young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, transition/direction, and/or eating disorders. I also provide pre-marital and marriage/relationship counseling.

Education/Experience

I received my BS in Special Event Planning and Recreation Administration from Cal Poly, SLO in 2000 so that I could run camps for kids! But after working at a non-profit, I quickly realized I truly wanted to help people thrive through counseling. It was then that I enrolled in Western Seminary and earned a MA in Marriage & Family Therapy. I’ve been in practice off and on since 2005 (taking breaks to take care of kiddos).
